• Can you tell me more about the welfare of Cravendale cows?

Cravendale Milk is part of Arla Foods. The Arla Foods Milk Partnership (AFMP) is committed to ensuring the highest animal welfare standards and strives to ensure that all members exceed the Assured Dairy Farm standards, legislation relating to quality, traceability, hygiene and animal welfare.

All our cows are free range, we only bring the herds in for milking and when the weather is extreme. If you would like any further information please contact us on the careline number printed on the bottle (0845 600 6688)

• Who are the farmers that supply Cravendale Milk?

Cravendale Milk is part of Arla Foods. Arla Foods Milk Partnership (AFMP) has approximately 1,400 members supplying around 1.8 billion litres of milk annually to Arla Foods, making it one of the largest direct supply groups in the UK.

• Where can I buy Cravendale?

Cravendale is widely available in supermarkets, petrol forecourts, convenience retailers and selected wholesalers. Even some coffee shops use it in their coffees.

• Can I freeze Cravendale?

Yes, you can freeze Cravendale, but it needs to be decanted into a suitable container and only frozen for 1 month. Once defrosted, it needs to be used within 24 hours

• Is anything added to Cravendale?

No, we don’t add anything to Cravendale. It is the filtration which makes Cravendale purer

• What size bottles do you sell?

Cravendale is sold in 2 litre and 1 litre variants

• Where can I get Cravendale merchandise?

• What makes Cravendale purer than other milk?

At Cravendale, we don’t just pasteurise our milk. We also finely filter it to make it purer for a fresher taste. And because we remove more of the bacteria that turn milk sour, it lasts a lot longer too. To learn more click here to watch our short movie, The Milk Book.

• Is your milk homogenised?

Yes, our milk is pasteurised, homogenised and filtered to make it purer. Watch our video on the site

• Is there an organic version of Cravendale?

No there is no organic version of Cravendale available at the current time.

• Are Cravendale cows free-range?

All farms supplying milk to Cravendale as part of Arla Foods are required to adhere to the Assured Dairy Farms standards to enable the company to sell milk under the red tractor logo.

• Is Cravendale suitable for young children?

Cravendale can be used in the same way as standard milk

• Are you planning to sell Cravendale in other countries?

Cravendale is currently sold in the UK and the Republic of Ireland as well as selected outlets in Spain and the Canary Islands

• Where can I buy your 'hint of…' products?

Unfortunately, due to low demand, our Hint-of products are no longer available

• Can I buy models of Cow, Pirate or Cyclist?

We will ask Cow, Pirate and Cyclist about how they would feel about creating models of them
